About

Damian is a Vietnamese international student with a marketing major at Western Sydney University. Damian is passionate about technological and data applications for human-centered values and business. Before starting the new journey at Kiki, Damian has participated in the university’s competitions towards using technologies for business and human solutions.

With a long-term goal of becoming an outstanding technology learner, Damian has learned and applied different tools and apps related to IT and Data Analytics to dive deep into these aspects. He wants to leverage his technology understanding to create and develop technological solutions for humans.

Background

Damian started his Bachelor of Business (Marketing) in 2020 under the offshore program developed by WSU in Vietnam. Throughout his journey, he has had the opportunity to experience and learn more about technological applications for businesses. From his academic journey, he used computer tools for market research, and data analytics to develop business solutions.

During his time in Vietnam from 2020 to 2022, Damian participated in university clubs, volunteers, and internships related to social media and digital marketing scopes. From the experiences, he has acquired a more relevant overview of the technological roles in a tech company. From that moment, he decided to be more serious and invest more in technology learning.

In 2023, he decided to transfer his studies to WSU Australia to fulfill his curiosity in technological marketing and business analytics. In Australia, he participated in activities, varying from internships, competitions, and integrated- learning experiences, which involved emerging technology and design thinking.

Interests

In leisure time, Damian enjoys hanging out with friends for commuting and writing journals about his experiences at night. He has a strong love for acoustic and classical music. For any of his loved songs, he tried to learn how to play them on the piano or digital keyboard.

He’s been a fan of anime - Japanese animation where he can cultivate his visual skills and creativity.

In his break time, he tried to travel or to go to new places to discover and enrich his experiences. He hopes that he can use all of his experiences to help and support others.
